Ok, so this was the
day I learned that something which is hilariously funny inside your
head can induce merely varying degrees of bemusement and wry smiles
in the target audience. Now that I know this, you can let me
know whether I should make sure any future jokes are actually funny,
or perhaps not tell any jokes in public ever again!
Here I am speaking to
an audience of enthusiastic hockey supporters including members and
staff from our City Council and board members from Hockey SA, not to
mention the state hockey teams in the form of the Hotshots and the
Suns and a huge number of hockey players and friends of Port Lincoln
Hockey.
