Those were the days; 128 kilobytes of
RAM memory, a 3 megahertz processor and 800 kilobytes of storage on
twin floppy disks! I went to the first (and only as it turned
out) Microbee dealer conference in Sydney as a guest of Owen Hill,
the founder of Applied technology who designed and produced the
Australian built range of
Microbee computers. For a bit more history, try a
Google search
for Microbee Computers.
