Here is the story (in pictures) of Max's trip north with his mum & dad (Katrina & Greg) and the Smiths (Cathie, Graeme & Elke).  Please note:  many of the pictures contained within this website may cause irritation (as in wish you were here), concern (as in careful Greg don't fall over that waterfall), joy (as in Greg had to send his computer back to SA for some technical intervention) or pity (as in how does Katrina put up with me....!)

We are essentially travelling north to Darwin via Alice Springs, then west to the Kimberley via Kununurra, then a few days in Broome so that Katrina can catch some local culture, then south to the Pilbara and Perth before belting back home (just kidding mum) over the Nullarbor so that Mr Smith can wrestle his year 3 class back from Tracey Cordon at the Port Lincoln Primary School at the start of Term 4.
