Max Goes North

Drysdale to Derby

Crawling Under Rocks

Katrina inspecting some rock art on Mount Elizabeth Station

Not waving either

Greg in a waterhole oblivious to the aboriginal art behind him...

Morgane, Niqi & Max

Feeding the turtles in the waterhole

Turtle + Fish

Neither was very large but the kids were impressed!

Wunumurra Falls

We had these falls and swimming hole all to ourselves for the day (well, we had to share with the Woodgates!)

Art plus

Some Wanjina art near Wunumurra Falls

Greg = Waterfall

Wunumurra Falls from the inside looking out

Rock Art Gaurdian

On a ledge 2 metres above the ground, we noticed this snake (python?) after we had taken a heap of photos of some adjacent artwork.

Wunumurra Falls

Beautifull every day. If you stay at Mount Elizabeth Station for 2 or more nights they will give you a choice of thses sort of locations you can drive to

This was higher than it looks...

The ladder is actually 5 metres long :) and was essntial for getting in and out of the gorge.

Great 4WD track

With the Barnett Range in the background, this 10k drive took over an hour and rivalled the Bullita Stock Route for slow driving over lots of rocks

Picking on Max

Morgane, Max & Niqi. The girls were on a year long trip around Australia with their parents

Team Photo

Greg, Katrina & Max with John & Julia Woodgate and their two girls, Morgane & Niqi at Mount Elizabeth Station

Gibb River Parking Lane

We saw a few injured vehicles on the Gibb River Road; this guy was obviously not carrying a spare casing.....

Manning Gorge Campsite

Get there early and pick a Boab to camp under!

Galvans Gorge

Death defying leap by Greg (note Katrina waiting to rescue me) with Paul (from Ireland) waiting for his turn

Irish Creek Crossing

Paul putting the L300 through it's paces coming out of Bell Gorge

Gibb River Road #1

Classic Gibb River Road photo of Paul & Cliona whizzing past. Apparently there are no roads like this in Ireland....?

Gibb River Road #2

We think this is Reiner & Ute & Melana from Germany also whizzing past but I am not completely certain! Happy for them to claim the photo anyway.

Tunnel Rats

Paul & Cli & Max & Kate & Greg & torches

It was dark in there!

Which is why the torches are on of course. Great walk under a hill, the water is chest deep ear;ier in the season (which is when we are coming back one day)

Artistic shot

Nearly full moon over Windjana Gorge

Artiste at work

with the cliffs of Windjana Gorge in the background

Where's Williamses?

More cow termite mounds near Windjana Gorge

Water trough

No more no less, but it is bloody long. This water trough can be found near the prison tree at Derby
