Max Goes North

Kununurra to the Bungle Bungles

Max Rocks

Max in front of a huge piece of Rainbow stone mined from near Kununurra. Max and Katrina bought some nice rocks from the Zebra Rock Gallery

Melon Man

Max holding a watermelon we purchased from the Melon Farm near Kununurra while he inspects an irrication channel supplied by the Ord River Scheme

Computers?

Not your typical computer shop in Kununurra....!

Looks like new!

Graeme washing his car at Kununurra, my car is a lot browner in colour

What fire?

Typical roadside fire up north; I did manage to catch the fire at a more spectacular moment, it was really just a grass fire burning unattended along the road....

Creek crossing

This time at night; having assisted Ron & Anne who had some car trouble on the way in to the Bungles, we were a bit late getting to our campsite at Kurrajong.

Chopper action

Max in the front seat of the chopper piloted by Brook who flew us over the Bungles

Flying Smiths

Elke, Cathie & Graeme in their chopper piloted by Tim who flew a record 15 flights that day. Chopper postions organised by Elke, this photo by Greg

Elke Flying

Elke also got the front seat in the Smith's helicopter!

Didgi Max

Max had a crack at the didgeridoo in Cathedral Gorge. The bloke on the left is a tour guide and he brought the didg in and played it while we were there

Echidna Gorge

Max in Echidna Gorge in the Bungle Bungles.

Mountain Man

Greg conquers Mini Palms Gorge in the Bungles and looks like being told off again.....

Mounting Study

Katrina hard at work in the shade of the tent doing her Aged Care course. Look for this picture in the dictionary under "dedication"

Another Creek

Photo by Max whom we made swim this croc-infested river on the way out of the Bungles (Ok, not funny, no crocs here.....honest!)

Cow Termites

Cow termites are very large and fly through the air dumping lumps of termite mound material as they go. They are remarkably good shots.....
