DVD Burners and
other Optical Drives |
|
DVD Burners have rapidly
overtaken CD Burners as the drive of choice in new systems, and are
now very good value as are the blank disks. The latest Dual
Layer DVD burners can store up to 8.5 gigabytes of data on a Dual
Layer disk, or up to 4.7 gigabytes on a regular DVD disk. DVD
Burners can also burn & play CDs as well as play DVD movies.

A
word from Greg ... |
|
 |
DVD Burners have overtaken CD Burners as a must have
device for recoding data, particularly if you have a digital
camera. A singe DVD disk can store several thousand
digital photos whereas a CD can only hold a few hundred.
You can still burn and play CDs in a DVD burner of course.
