Strictly speaking, this
page should be titled "Floppy Disk Drive" because we only recommend
one brand of floppy drive and there is only one model, and it's a
Sony! For backing up data however, we would suggest that a Zip
Drive or CD Burner is a better option simply because of the larger
capacity media they use.

is an OEM product supplied without cables or screws, however given
that most floppy drives are purchased as a replacement this should

The humble 1.44 megabyte 3½" floppy disk drive has been around for
more than 10 years without change and generally speaking all
brands of floppy drive are compatible. They are so cheap to
buy it is not worth attempting service or repair in the event of a
problem. |
