| And
aren't we glad to see the end of the mouse ball! Nor more
cleaning the fluff out of the rollers with these wonderful optical
mice which have an optical sensor instead of a mouse ball, and
work on virtually any surface. Most computer users elect to
not use a mouse mat, such is the smoothness of the mouse.
You have to watch out for some surfaces though; a glass topped or
shiny black desk will still need a mouse mat. And the mouse
mat needs to be relatively plain as dark patches will affect the
optical sensor. |
