Computer Power Supplies |
Modern computers
are generally supplied with 300 watt power supplies, however if you
have more than the average number of devices fitted to your computer
you should consider a higher capacity. These power supplies
fit standard desktop cases, if you have a compact style case you may
have to contact the manufacturer of your computer to get the right
part.

A
word from Greg ... |

 |
|
Computer power supplies are high-voltage devices. Caution
should be used when replacing a power supply within a computer,
particularly if the existing power supply has been damaged in
any way. And never dismantle a power supply for any
reason; this should only ever be carried out by a qualified
technician. And one more thing, never flick the little re
switch on the back of the power supply to alter the voltage as
this will result in the destruction of the power supply together
with consequential damage to your computer. |
