When you buy a UPS, make sure you choose a model with a battery
indicator on the front panel. All batteries have a finite
life, and we have found that UPS batteries will generally last
around two years. What you don't want is a power failure
to find out that the batteries in your UPS have failed!
Installation of the automated shutdown software and cable is
essential for unattended shutdown of course. |
