Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System
There are at least four flavours of Vista available to you and you need to choose carefully based on your day to day requirements.  Each version of Windows Vista has been designed to suit a particular type of user and whilst there are overlaps between the versions there are some key features which are only fund in one or two versions.  In fact, only one version (Ultimate) has all of the features available.

A word from Greg ...

Generally speaking, if you are running the Windows XP operating system, particularly if you are running Windows XP Professional, there is no compelling reason to change.

The majority of the computer marketplace will adopt a wait and see attitude to the new Windows Vista operating system, however most new computers, particularly for standalone use, will probably be supplied with Vista.

There may be some early issues with software and hardware compatibilities which is 100% normal with new operating systems however these issues should be well and truly sorted out towards the end of 2007.
