Internet Choices on Lower Eyre Peninsula
There are a number of wireless internet options for residents and businesses on Eyre Peninsula.  Generally speaking all of the wireless internet options are broadband which simply means a faster internet connection than a standard dial-up connection over a normal phone line.

Please note that my observations below are general in nature and biased by design (24 years in the computer industry will do that to you!) so you should take the opportunity to contact each of the providers below to satisfy yourself as to the quality of the service they are offering and it's suitability to your requirements.

Please note that feedback as to the accuracy of this document is most welcome.

A word from Greg ...

If you have a laptop or notebook computer with wireless networking built-in, you can connect to a wireless network in the home or office, at school or university, and even at internet cafes and other wireless "hotspots".  Most of the time you will need a password to connect, however many organisations offer free connections where a password is not required.

For example, if you travel through Adelaide airport you can connect to the free Internode wireless hotspot while waiting for your plane, you can check your mail, browse the internet or do your on-line banking.
