Ravendale Community Sports Centre

The Social Centre for Sport in Port Lincoln

A joint initiative between the Port Lincoln Hockey Association and the Tasman Football Club (together with their affiliated netball, cricket and basketball clubs) to provide a multi-purpose, joint-use, family friendly community sports centre at the Ravendale Sporting Complex.  The project has received significant financial support from all three tiers of government; the City of Port Lincoln, State Government and Federal Government, as well as fabulous support from our local community by way of corporate and private donations and sponsorship together with a tremendous volunteer effort from members of the sporting groups involved at the Ravendale Sporting Complex.

Same again today, 5.00am start and another gazillion tonnes of concrete goes into the foundations.  Extras took a bit of a pounding today with an extra 100 tonnes of concrete required because the foundations were dug a little deeper than estimated at the start to make sure we reached solid earth.  Good plan that, can't have too much concrete on the ground floor!  Check out the latest photos in the Photo Gallery
